Only the best equipment

Reformer Pilates is only as good as the reformer beneath you, which is why our studio runs on STOTT Pilates (Merrithew) equipment. It’s built to a professional, clinically-informed standard: smooth, precise and dependable, with the fine adjustability to work safely for every body, from first-timers to clients managing injuries or conditions. STOTT Pilates is one of the world’s most respected contemporary Pilates methods, and its apparatus is engineered to the same exacting, body-first standards.

Why the reformer matters

A quality reformer gives smooth, calibrated spring resistance through a full, supported range of movement, the reason reformer Pilates can build real strength, mobility and control without the impact of the gym. Precise spring settings let your instructor dial in the exact load your body needs on the day, which is what makes our small classes (a maximum of four) so genuinely tailored.

Best for:

  • Full-range, low-impact strength and mobility
  • Safe, supported work around injuries and conditions
  • Precise, measurable progression as you get stronger
  • Reformer Pilates that feels smooth, quiet and controlled

Cared for, so you can trust it

Equipment this good deserves proper upkeep, and it’s the kind of detail most studios never mention. We service our reformers and apparatus regularly and replace the springs every two years, comfortably within manufacturer guidance, so the resistance you feel is always accurate, consistent and safe, session after session. Fresh springs mean the load on your body is exactly what your instructor intends, which matters enormously when you’re rebuilding strength or working around an injury.

Trained to get the most from it

Great equipment still needs great teaching. Our instructors’ training spans the leading Pilates methods, including STOTT, Paula, for example, qualified with STOTT in both matwork and full studio equipment back in 2001. That depth of knowledge means every piece of apparatus is used to its full potential: safely, precisely and always adapted to you.
