Terms of service

These terms apply to classes, memberships and sessions at The Old Dairy Pilates Studio, Lamport, Northamptonshire. By booking with us you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Refund Policy and privacy information.

Booking and payment

Classes and sessions are booked and paid for in advance through our online system (TeamUp). Payment must clear before you attend, and your place is confirmed only once booked and paid.

Your introductory session

Everyone begins with a one-to-one introductory session (£33). This lets your instructor assess how you move, discuss any health considerations and set you up for classes at the right level. It is required before joining group classes.

Memberships

Memberships run for 12 months from the date you start, and payments are taken monthly on a 30-day rolling basis. Each Lifestyle option includes a set number of sessions across the 12 months, with a minimum of one session per week and a maximum within any four-week period:

  • Lifestyle 1 – 48 sessions over 12 months (up to 7 in any 4 weeks)
  • Lifestyle 2 – 72 sessions over 12 months (up to 9 in any 4 weeks)
  • Lifestyle 3 – 96 sessions over 12 months (up to 12 in any 4 weeks)

You can book and manage your sessions up to three months in advance, and book different classes on different days to suit your week.

Cancelling a class

You can remove yourself from a booked class up to 24 hours before it starts without losing the session. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the class, and non-attendance, are non-refundable and the session is forfeited.

Cancelling your membership

To cancel your monthly payments a full 30 days' notice is required, counted from your next due payment date rather than the day you cancel, as payments run on a 30-day rolling basis. If you use all of your sessions before the end of the 12-month period, a balancing payment falls due for the remaining payment cycles. If your circumstances change during your membership, please talk to us first – we will always try to help.

Drop-in classes

A single drop-in class (£33) is available to clients who already have reformer experience, for our general group classes (Level 1, 2 or 3, or a studio/tower class). It is not suitable for beginners, is not a trial session, and is not a substitute for a private session.

Health and wellbeing

Pilates is suitable for most people, but it is your responsibility to work within your own limits. Please tell us about any injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy or health concerns before and during your sessions so we can adapt exercises for you. If in doubt, consult your GP or a medical professional before starting. Our instructors are experienced, qualified Pilates teachers but are not medical practitioners, and our guidance is not medical advice.

Liability

We take reasonable care to run our classes safely. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the total fees you have paid in the 12 months before any claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything that cannot be excluded under law.

Studio use and conduct

Please arrive in good time, follow your instructor's guidance, and treat the studio, equipment and other members with respect. No shoes are worn on the reformers. We may decline or end a session where behaviour is unsafe or disruptive.

Filming and intellectual property

Please do not photograph or record classes without consent. Our class content, materials and website are our property and may not be copied or shared with third parties.

Your information

We handle your personal information in line with our privacy information. See Your Privacy Choices.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time, and the current version always applies. If you have any questions, please get in touch.
